I have embedded the Segoe UI and Consolas fonts (from Office 2007) in the Theoreme Consulting site in order for every user to have the same browsing experience.

So, if you don't own office 2007 and want to have a preview of the new fonts, give Theoreme Consulting site a try <;-)..

P.S : I have used the WEFT (Web Embedding Font Tool) from Microsoft to embed the fonts.

This little project hosted on SourceForge is an excellent replacement for the old and ugly Dos Console. It Includes :

• Transparency (an eye candy but still..)
• Tabs for multiple consoles.
• Autocomplete
• docking to one edge of the screen.
• etc...

I have not included images on this post but just CHECK IT OUT HERE !

I have posted the first article of a series of ten, beginning the tutorial of the Topic's Data Mapping framework on my site.

Due to the request of one of my nice pupils Mittha, here is where you can still download the whole font pack !! The Consolas font is especially cool for code writing..

Extract the archive to a folder, then go to the Fonts Control Panel Applet, File, Install New Font ... and choose the folder that you saved them to. (Or, believe you can just drag and drop them into the Fonts Control Panel Applet.)

WinTellect has continuously maintained the PowerCollections projects which is a repository of generic collections (and the like). You can download the source code (!) and binaries or if you prefer to browse the online documentation first, you can too !

Oh.. and and you can also find on the site the draft specification of all classes (shorter and more readable than NDoc output for a first reading)

The release version of .net 3.0 is finally out. It runs on VS.net 2005.

Cool news ! MS just released the Microsoft InteropForms Toolkit 1.0 ..

This toolkit helps you bring the power of .NET to your existing VB6 applications, by allowing them to display .NET WinForms from within the same application. Instead of upgrading the entire code base, these applications can now be extended one form at a time. The goal is a phased upgrade, with production releases at the end of each iteration containing both VB6 and VB.NET forms running in the same VB6 .exe process.
